When my two were angels in their plays, I made a costume using a large men’s T-shirt and sewed tinsel round the bottom and round the sleeves, and stuck a big silver star on the front. I bought a cheap pair of fairy wings but you could make your own out of cardboard and cover them in tinsel too.

If you don’t have cloth scissors, use craft scissors. But it will take longer. Remember, if you cut ragged it won’t matter it, will just look more ghostly.
Interesting comment from “themed parties” above, but I’m not sure someone would want a “ghostly” look if they are in an angel costume. Angelic and ghostly are almost opposites. I would stay away from ragged scissors.

Nice entry. Angels are in fact the most preferred costume on Halloween night. It is fun dressing up like one. I was simply searching the internet and I could find loads of collection with angels theme. But I like to stitch an angel dress on my own as it develops my creativity and also I get the chance to customize it to my liking. I don’t like to play sweet, so I may choose to be a hot angel, than a fairy-like angel.
